Our text this week is Matthew 4:12-23, the story of Jesus calling a bunch of fishermen to be disciples. Wise or not wise? Join us during weekly Bible study on Wednesdays from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. and at Celebration on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Chestnut Choir will be singing “Precious Lord” and everyone who wants to sing should simply show up at 9:15 a.m. Pastor Melinda’s sermon will be focused on Matthew 5: 43-45: “43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.
